Mike Dardis
Mike Dardis co-anchors the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts at WLWT with Sheree Paolello.
Mike has been in the TV business for more than 35 years, featuring anchoring roles in Seattle and Philadelphia.
Mike is an Emmy Award winning anchor. He has also been honored with multiple Emmy Awards for his reporting and work on special projects. He and co-anchor Sheree Paolello were awarded an Edward R. Murrow award, one of the highest honors in TV News, for their series of stories on a fugitive doctor accused of performing unnecessary spine surgeries on hundreds of patients in Greater Cincinnati
Mike has field anchored big events including Super Bowl 56 with the Bengals, as well as conventions for both major political parties and presidential inaugurations. Before moving to news in 2000, Mike was a sportscaster in Philadelphia where he hosted Major League Baseball pre-game shows, the Eagles coach’s show for several years and did sideline reporting during pre-season NFL games.
He was twice named AP Sportscaster of the year in the State of Pennsylvania.
Mike is proud to be the father of two children, a girl and a boy who are now out of college.
He married his co-anchor Sheree Paolello, who he calls his best friend, in May of 2019. They live in Mason, where Mike has added 3 more kids, 2 dogs and a cat to his beautifully blended family.
